Tarantella (an Italian “musical round dance”) is a chamber choir from Ede, consisting of twenty singers, balanced on soprano, alto, tenor and bass.

Since 1999 they have enjoyed singing world music in various languages: African, English, Sephardic, Italian and Dutch under the inspiring leadership of conductor Juliette Stout.

A-Capella

Classical music also has a place with them. Usually they sing a-Capella, but occasionally they sing with accompaniment of piano or djembé, and sometimes a song gets its own chorea in order to let the text live even more.

They have found a nice mix between cosines and commitment. Because it is important to them that, in addition to the pure tones and beautiful sounds, it also expresses the experience of text and music and thus make the music heard from their hearts.

In short, a performance is always a small musical adventure
